Why this page exists at all. USDC is the only asset here that Circle issues natively on each chain and moves between them by burning and re-minting through CCTP rather than by wrapping. That is why a native USDC balance and a bridged one are different tokens with different contract addresses, and why a cashier can accept one and reject the other.
